Role Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to provide exceptional service to clients, which include leading grocers and retailers. This role focuses on managing communications, order entry, and customer inquiries while ensuring smooth coordination across production and logistics teams. Individuals with industry experience in B2B customer service, food production, or manufacturing will thrive in this fast-paced, dynamic role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Process EDI/manual orders and address any discrepancies.
  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and chat while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude (60% emails, 40% calls).
  • Coordination: Work with production and logistics teams to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment for large retailers and grocers.
  • Data Management: Use Excel, including advanced functions like Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other formulas, to manage large datasets like SKUs and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate customer complaints, clarify issues, and propose tailored solutions. Follow through to ensure resolution.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain expertise in egg-based products, including types, sizes, packaging, and storage requirements.
  • Recordkeeping: Document customer interactions, order details, and resolutions while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years in a B2B customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Macro experience is a bonus!
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify, address, and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: Must be available for onsite work in Irvine, CA, with rotating Saturday and holiday coverage. Flexibility with schedule changes may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.00/hour (DOE).
